17 May Are you connected?
John 15:1-2 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
In this world that we live in being connected has emphasis place on it. Who you know is more important than what you know. Being the go to person is more important than being the person behind the scenes.
In the Kingdom of God we view things in a different manner; we filter our thoughts through the Father’s eyes and not our own. With this in mind as a believer, being connected to Christ is the best connection we could ever have. This type of connection supplies us with everything we need. When we are disconnected from the vine our source supply dries up and we are depleted.
If you are feeling depleted, empty or simply lost let me introduce or re-introduce you to Christ the one who can water your dry places and quench every desert place in your life. He died so that you might have eternal life according to John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
God has a place for his people, you are a part of this Kingdom, welcome Home!
